Ask and you shall receive...that's what they say right? I didn't have any more craft fairs lined up for 2015 and I was a bit bummed out by it! I put out a call on Facebook to see if anyone had any ideas and suddenly my fall is filling up! So this will just be a short post about where to find me with a bit of bragging about how awesome my friends are!
This week I'll be doing a couple of not-craft-fair things that I'm hoping might be good! Today (Thursday 10/15) I'll be setting up a table at the Lawrence Zombie Walk! On the one hand I'm hoping its chilly so that the shambling masses need something to warm up in, on the other hand I'm not a fan of sitting in the cold myself! It should be fun either way. Despite being an adult I'm a bit scared of people in masks and face paint (but in a fun way) and portions of the proceeds will got to the Lawrence Humane Society!
Saturday night (10/17) I will be at Hammerween. For those that don't know this is an annual event put on by my friends in the band Hammerlord! Hours of good local metal, cool vendors, and awesome pre-Halloween fun! I'm excited for this! I go every year anyway and its always good to see people I sometimes only see once a year...its like friend Christmas...with costumes!

 | I got this great Frankenstein's Monster head to Halloween up my table display! He's not great in hats, I'm still trying to decide how best to use him! I may also paint him...so many possibilities! |
Additionally my friend Kendra has invited me to do a fair with her on Halloween in Peculiar, Missouri, more info when I get it on that one! I've also applied for a craft show in Salina, Kansas in November that is another benefit for the Girl Scouts. It looks like a HUGE one!
I've had quite a few other suggestions that I am looking into as well! I'm a very lucky person to have such awesome friends who hear my requests for help and do just that! Its a little thing this time around but its super awesome to know that people read what I post and throw out ideas when they have them!
