I missed posting again last week! This time around I didn't forget, it was just such a busy week I couldn't swing it! I need to get some more posts banked for such occasions! It feels like I have so many things to tell you about! I'll try to limit though! First and foremost, I figured out that some of the things I was doing to try to alleviate my arm pain, were actually making it worse! I went back to the basics and things seem to be fine now! I have laid off the blanket with that big bulky yarn, when I pick that back up I suppose I could learn otherwise!
Last time we spoke I mentioned that I had had a blast of creativity that was taking me in a whole new direction with some things. I've decided to go ahead and move forward with that! I had considered saving it for next year, but I really wasn't so far in that I couldn't make a change, so I have done so! You guys, I have fallen so far down an 80s rabbit hole I can't even tell you! It just feels right though, and I'm going to go with it! I've revamped my color palettes using the inspiration you see here!
My neons are staying the same. I have always loved neon, I will always love neon. It comes in and out of style, but it never leaves my wardrobe and I always get excited to see it. It just flat makes me happy! It's time we just accept the fact, for me, neon is the new black! We must also accept the fact that I do not know how to photograph neon properly, so take my word for it...these are neon!
For what I sort of consider my "other line" I've stayed with the 80s but leaned into the pastels. Now, by other line, I don't mean anything other than "other set of colors," the items will be the same on both sides of the spectrum. To the pastels I've added just those 3 slightly bolder hues in to break it up, and I may keep Key Lime from my previous color set. I'll also have things in basic black, grey, and white...still deciding on brown and ivory. I will be changing out all of my tags and packaging to coordinate with the new direction, and am working on display ideas currently! The logo will stay the same, but the brown craft paper look is going bye bye. I'm very excited about all of this!
Finally, you may be looking at these clothespins wrapped in yarn thinking "what a clever and helpful idea!" So I'll tell you, its not my idea, it comes from the blogger who writes Attic 24. She calls them yarn pegs and uses them to plan all of her super colorful blankets! They were super easy to make and are already making my life a lot easier as far as visualizing and keeping track of what I'm working with!
I'm working with the pastel side of things now, so hopefully by next week I'll have some delightfully sherbet-y things to show you!
