Hello! Hi! How are you?? Good? Good!
Here's something you may or may not know about me...I'm a magpie when it comes to fabric. I keep all the little bits I find as though I'm going to do something with them someday. I'll buy packages of swatches and odds and ends at estate sales, yard sales, thrift stores, etc. Some time ago I discovered that at IKEA (I swear they don't pay me...but they probably should!) you can buy a bundle of swatches (I seem to be unable to link to it today, but trust me, its a thing!) of their interior design weight fabrics for $5! How could I resist this delightful item?
As it turns out, for weeks (months?) I had no idea what to do with it! Finally I decided...BUNTING!!

The process of it was pretty easy, I just cut out the triangles with pinking shears and then ran a zig zag stitch most of the way around them, leaving an opening to run a cord. For the cord I used some macrame yarn I had from when I thought I'd really enjoy macrame (hot tip: I don't!). Anyway, I just ran that cord through the tops and sewed the flags to it at about 6" apart...voila! Festive!!
I'm not yet sure what I will use it for, perhaps it will add a nice touch to the craft booth!
Finally, for anyone on the edge of their seats waiting to see my hand lettered wrestling catch phrases...I give you my imagining of "If Ravishing Rick Rude owned a laundromat in my neighborhood, what would the logo look like?":
