This is the one guys! This is the new thing I've been most excited to show you!! You may remember that last year I had a fringe-y cowl, it was cute, rectangular, fancy. I liked that cowl, it was easy to make and fun to wear, but ultimately it was not my own pattern. Additionally I found that people were intimated by the styling and had a hard time remembering how to fold and button it to get it to look like what they bought. As I searched around for inspiration and began tinkering I thought "ah ha! bandanas!" What you see below is the result, the Bandana Fringe Cowl!!
When I started working on it I realized that to get to the size I wanted it was not only going to take a lot of yarn, it was also going to start to look a little bulky and heavy. I decided to add a few rows of open work on the edge and I really like how it turned out! Its still a very simple and fun pattern, but now all the wearer has to do is put the button in a hole and the look is achieved!
I'm still working my way through the lines and getting them photographed, so this is just a preview! I can't wait to unveil these at craft shows, they are so beautiful in person! I'm about to start on the "Basics" line and I think these are going to look stunning in black and other neutrals!
