Off an on throughout my time crafting I've sold the things I've made, but never really in earnest. Now it seems that earnestness is happening! I have signed up for 3 craft fairs in September with my friend Lisa over at Shorticorn Studios! Its going to be super fun, but a lot of work.
You see, most people would take 6 months to a year to prepare hand crafted goods for a craft fair season. I've given myself about 4 weeks...eeek!
I'm limiting my amount of goods. I was going to keep it to just kitchen things, pot holders, dish cloths, etc, but then I thought "winter is coming" and although I'm not a Stark I should be prepared. So in addition to pot holders and pan scrubbies I'll be making headband ear warmers in collegiate and other colors. I've got a pretty sizable start so I'm encouraged!
I've had a lot of good "you should make this" suggestions, and they are all such great ideas, but in the end, limiting my options will be the only way to get through it!
