Hook The Book!

I have a bit of an addiction to quirky crochet books.  The bad part of this is that I buy them, then I make very little out of them for whatever reason.  For awhile now I've had my eye on Twinkie Chan's Crochet Goodies for Fashion Foodies and I thought, this could be a good time to "hook the book!"  What I mean by that is that I'm going to try to make every pattern in the book!  I won't go in order, and my production may be sporadic as other projects arise and as I gather materials, but I'm trying to commit to it!  My first one was the Buttered Toast Scarf!
 

This was a super fun pattern and went together way faster than I thought it would!  It was also rewarding at various stages!  For instance, its nice to see a big pile of crustless toast come to life:

I will not be selling the items from this project but I will consider donating them to charity and fundraising raffles and auctions.
