It seems that crocheters and knitters seem to flock together, and I've met a lot of fellow yarn enthusiasts, mostly on the internet, that I would not have known with out the fiber connection. I find more and more though that I have friends, some life long, some newer who are quite talented crocheters and who are doing some amazing projects! My friend Misty, who I first met on a softball team (the only organized sports experience of my youth) the summer between 4th and 5th grade is one of those people! She recently wrote some patterns and put them up for sale on Ravelry (if you are a knitter or crocheter and you are not on Ravelry...you are doing it wrong!) I'm nothing if not a friend supporter so I immediately purchased the patterns with the intent of making them and getting some posts up in Ravelry about them to help drum up some more buyers! It was the peak of craft fair season so it took awhile but I finally got them done!
First up these gorgeous fingerless gloves. These went together super fast and I love the lacy, delicate look of them! I also like that they are just one piece with a seam up the side, so much less fussy than the 3 piece ones I've been making!
Next week I hope to have a really fun scarf to show you...one I will likely have to keep for myself! I'm super excited about it!
